Finally my Bag - 06-16-2009, 08:53 PM

My first task after I joined the forum was to post my bag, by one reason or another I always forgot, but its finally here...

I decided on Canon due to service availabilty down here in Puebla, Mexico, more necessity than choice, because at one point I believed in the lower range cameras Nikon was superior, but I stuck with Canon...

anyway here it is:

Canon Bag
XTi body
17-85 EFS w hood
70-300 EFS w hood
15mm
Lensbaby
430 Flash
Remote
Gummi strap ( don't know brand, I am posting remotely)
Cards
Filters
Batteries
Tripod

enough to have fun for a while... the future plan is to add a T1i and a Sigma 150-500...

You'll need a bigger bag with more gear. It looks packed!

It is packed, but I have everything in one place... down here in Puebla I have no where to look for a decent bag, nonetheless my last time in HCE I looked at a ton of bags they have in stock and didn't find anything outstanding either... I have my eyes peeled on this section in case something outstanding comes up...

I am a little worried because my future plans include adding a T1i and a Sigma 150-500 then I will be seriously packed

It looks like a pretty nice bag.

When you need a bigger bag (or maybe even just another smaller one), take a look at one without "Canon" on it. You might not want to advertise your gear to would-be thieves! I've used Lowepro bags and currently have a Stealth Reporter 650AW that fits two battery-gripped camera bodies with lenses attached (usually a 17-40 f/4 on one and 70-200 f/2.8 on the other) as well as two flashes (420 EX and 580 EX II), 100 f/2.8 macro and 85 f/1.8. Also has a CF card wallet, lots of little pockets for batteries and whatnot, etc. Also has a sleeve for my laptop.

Of course, smart thieves might know what "Lowepro" means, too.

Yeah, I have realized that the "Canon" logo is serious advertisement of what is inside and my next bag most likely will come from Lowepro, I bought my XTi at Best Buy and bought a camera bag, you know one of those super bulky ones, when I realized what I really wanted was a back pack had to resource to the Canon store in Puebla, Mexico thus the brand bag. So far so good, not the greatest bag by all means, but works for now.

I will look to the Lowepro more closely on their website and either I'll get it at HCE or web...
