Need new camera and lens bag - 12-02-2009, 09:18 PM

I need a bag that will contain my 40D a 17-55 lens a 22-60 lens, a 70-200 lens and a 400 Prime lens along with various filters, cards, etc. I need to keep everything in one bag and ready to go at all times. A Back pack capability is not necessary since I usually use an automobile or ATV to get to where I want to go. Water proofing is not necesary. When I get on site I need to quickly attach the appropriate lens and then quickly dis assemble. So quick access is important. Want to spend around $100.00
Any recommendations?

The problem I have found with most bags is the lentgh of the 400mm prime lens. Also the ability to hold the four lens and body. Back pack models don't impress me.

Richard,

Given that list, I really think you should round up all your gear and make a trip to Houston. I know Camera Co-op has a good selection of bags. I'm sure that HCE does also. However, the inventory may get depleted with the holidays. You might need a bag just for the 2 big lenses: 70-200 & 400.

Consider hardcase...

The Crumpler 8 Million Dollar Home should be what you need but it's going to cost you more like $180 instead of just $100.

Sometimes you can get free shipping from Adorama or other sites.

Good luck.

Think outside the box.
Look at camping gear carrying bags.
lantern carry bags.
shooters supplies.

If it's marketed to photographers it will cost more.
