Kata Bags in Houston - 01-25-2010, 09:47 PM

I am looking for a retailer in the Houston area (Spring/The Woodlands). Looking online I can only come up with Houston Camera Exchange. They are an hour away. I think I would rather get a root canal than fight the traffic around the Galleria.....Any other retailers?

Also I have a T1i, a Tokina 12-24mm, and plan on purchasing the Canon 15-85mm or Tamron 17-50mm, plus the Canon 55-250mm and a 430 EX II flash. Is the 3N1-20 or DR-465 a good match for this equipment.

Thanks in advance.

I have a Kata 3n1-20 and i loved it. It was the perfect bag while i was tripping around Australia. Coincidentally i have one for sale. :)

I carried a NIkon D300 + grip with a 17-55 attached, an 85mm f/1.4, a nikon SB800, 2 pocket wizards, and some extra AA batteries. And i even had the extra compartment up top free and open. Also used a tripod connected to the outside as well.

one thing i think you might have problems with is the 55-250. I'm not sure how big it is.
I have a Nikon 70-200 VRII now and it does not fit in the bag any where. But its massive.

What bags does Humble Camera sell? Your lens choices would appear to have considerable overlap on the wide end. How come? Are there no zoom lenses that start at 24mm or 28mm? Canon's 24-105 comes to mind.
