Its just a size too small to have a D700+grip and a 70-200 attached.

If it were 3 inches taller and 2 inches wider it'd be perfect :(
I think i might go back with my lenses to see how it works out if i were to actually try to use it real world instead of just taking the biggest lens.

Anyone have one and use it with their gear?

I want to use it for traveling.

Daniel - try the Retro 20 - it's designed to hold a body/70-200 attached and looked much deeper at the store.

I love my retro, but keep the lenses and bodies apart (not enough room) or the camera over my shoulder.

Hopefully TT comes out with a "Retro 40" which is wide like the 30 and deep like the 20 - but it'll be a big bag.
