looking for Pictures of gear in Pelican Case - 06-21-2011, 05:40 PM

I am interested in seeing everyone's layout for 2 specific cases made by pelican but am interested in other pelican sizes too.

I have a 1560 case with dividers and need to figure a layout that holds 3 bodies, and my lenses. I am interested in seeing how people here have packed/ set up their 1560's or 1510's for their gear.

Thanks

You got some stuff! I have a small Pelican box. I need to look for dividers. The foam is less than perfect.

But if all my gear is in it, how am I supposed to take a pic of it?

My case is discontinued, I know... but I have no idea what model it is... bought it on clearance at Texas School a couple years ago.

i have a 1560 and it's pretty much perfect for a "3-body + lenses and all your other crap" type setup. i don't have a pic, though. i bought mine at Houston Camera Exchange, and it had dividers and foam when i purchased.

with enough creativity, you can seriously fit a LOT in there.

the dividers are the velcro-sided ones you can rearrange.

my favorite features are the wheels (OMG, seriously, love wheels) and the fact that it has a handle on both the long and short side-- so when you're loading it in to a car, you can grab with two hands. it's heavy when loaded, so it super sucks if you have to go up a flight of stairs.

i've checked it before and all my gear made it happily through baggage claim.
