Need a new bag...opinions/experiences? - 11-03-2011, 08:45 PM

First off, sorry I haven't been on in awhile tons of stuff has happened since I've been gone! School, a car fest in Kentucky, and a baby.

Anyways....my gear:
Sony A300 w/vertical grip
18-55 3.5-5.6
50 1.8
75-300 4.5-5.6
Hot shoe
Hot shoe adapter
Remote release
Batteries
Cf cards
Various lens filters
And soon to have a tripod

Currently I'm using a case logic bag. It's kind of small, still room for small stuff, wallet, keys, phone, etc.

I'm looking for a decently inexpensive backpack size/type bag. Enough to carry laptop if needed, an ipad2, my gear, a space for an extra shirt or 2 (and deodorant for those hot days where every guy sweats a ton). And maybe a space for a snack and a bottle of water or 2, and extra room for my growing gear. Price is a concern having just had a new baby. Looking to stay under 150 if possible.

If you could post links to the bags you like that would help, or give make and model. I've looked all over B&H found some I like, but can't really tell if they are big enough for my needs.

Thanks for the help.

I've heard a lot of good things about this bag:

Lowepro Fastpack 350

I have the much smaller day pack by the same brand, which I enjoy, but I have far less equipment than you do. Haven't had any quality problems or anything like that.

So I got he Manfrotto Unica VII bag. Love it! Only complaint, needs more small pockets for filters, caps, remote releases, etc.
