I am in the market for a larger bag with rollers. This one seems to fit the bill. | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Right from Sports Shooter. Posted 1/17/07
The Airport International Roller is a bit smaller than the current Airport Security, and meets all of the international carry on requirements.
Info will be on our website today: http://www.penncamera.com

Hi Andrew,
I have heard good reviews about that bag.
When I was in the market a little over a month ago I decided to go with the Kata HB-207T Hiker Backpack with DTS Insertrolley. I went with the 207 because it was larger but if you are set on an airline legal bag they 205T is the one.
This is an extremely well built bag with lots of padding and it accepts a laptop as well.
Check out the specs on B&H. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ist&sku=422743
Hope this helps widen your choices.

Andrew,
I picked up my thinkTank Security on Friday and it is great. I have a thinkTank Antidote and love it. I have been through about 4 different bags in the last 6 months before finding these. Go to thinktankphoto.com for a listing of their products. They list one place in Austin and Houston Camera Exchange in Houston as sales points in Texas.

Thanks Rick... Wish they had someting in the D/FW area, but there are a ton of glowing reviews about their products..So I probably am safe acting on advice... My partner laughs at me..I go through bags.. I like everything to be organized and have its place. Neat freak in that way (at least with my gear). I am in need of something to hold 2-3 bodies and several lenses including rollers. My current bags have no rollers (exception being my Pelican which is too large for carry-on). I was about to purchase the TT Airport Security model awhile back but it was out of stock and I had trouble locating one... finally forgot about it for awhile. Seeing this new model has reengaged my desire for one. LOL
Thanks again.. | | | |

The Airport Security is finally shipping. I have been waiting over 3 months. HCE got their's in last Weds. or Thurs. and I picked mine up on Friday. I choose it because it will hold my 400 f/2.8, my 70-200 f/2.8VR, 17-55, 105 macro, 3 TCs, SB800, 2 D2X bodies plus all the accessories. You just can't lift it. I plan on using my Airport Antidote to carry most of the equipment and the Security to carry the 400 and all my carry-on clothes, etc. The airlines have let me count the Antidote as my briefcase so far. I believe this will make a great combination. I plan to get Dana the same setup if she likes mine. (the problem with the spouse shooting as well, you have to get two of everything). We have Pelican, Storm, Haliburton we use for the underwater housing equipment (checked on airlines) and Tamrac, Lowepro Dryzone and a couple of others for the camera gear but I prefer the thinkTank over them all. BTW the Security has built in TSA locks (great feature for airline travel).

I picked up the Airport Security at PPA... I haven't had a chance to pack it like I want it but it is the best bag I've owned to date. My 600 F4 will fit in it

I have an Airport Security bag and LOVE it. I saw the International at Imaging (HCE had a booth with Think Tank) and it looks like another great bag in their lineup.
Michael... glad to hear you picked one up. I grabbed a Modulus belt system on my way out of town on Monday. The belt looks like it's going to be a winner for my wedding work.
Think Tank has great products.

Troy...I have been using the belt system for several months. I would recommend getting the shoulder straps from the start. I found I put so much on the belt that it became heavy very quickly. The shoulder straps help alot.

HCE is cool. | I have found their service is worth the extra cost of sales tax. HCE has yet to steer me wrong. It works out well for me that they don't have internet sales. It keeps me from impulse buying and forces me to talk with someone before placing an order. I have made changes in several orders after talking it over with them.
