Pelican Cases in Dallas - 02-23-2008, 10:11 AM

I have come to the realization that I am going to have to invest in a Pelican case. Is there anyplace in DFW that stocks these? Or do I need to mail order?

OR: anybody got a rolling 1510 with movable inserts they don't need?

I believe Arlington Camera is a dealer, but I'm not sure how much they have in stock.

I went online and found this to have the best prices and selection.

I do love my 1510.

Thanks everyone. Right - I looked at Fry's. They don't have any with wheels, though. And I am aware of the internet, but always want to buy from a real local store if possible. Thanks, John, too, for the affirmation!

May have to wait a bit, though. Just came to the conclusion I need a CLA on one of my lenses. $150!

Arlington Camera has them. Every time I'm in there I see several, and I believe that I've even seen some with wheels.

You might try some of the local dive shops. I have seen them at Scuba Toys and Dive West in the past.

when i got mine, i called them up and a sales rep came out to where I was and sold me one - for a good price too! might be worth a go, if theres a sales rep cruising past in your area you might get lucky...

Competitive Camera in downtown Dallas had them. I was looking at purchasing one but ended up buying one of their Halliburton aluminum cases since it worked better for my needs.
