Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home - 05-14-2008, 02:57 PM

Does anybody know if there is a place in Austin that sells Crumpler bags? If not, do you have a 6 MDH that I could take a look at for sizing purposes?

Thanks!

Crumpler 6mil - 05-26-2008, 12:17 PM

I am in Dallas, but i know that The Whole Earth Provision Co. sells Crumpler products. The one in Dallas sells mostly the messenger bags and some of the smaller camera bags. I think some of the REI's carry some of the Crumpler bags as well. Online is probably going to be your best bet though. I have a 6 mil and love it. I also have one of their messenger bags and love it as well. I can fit my 40D, a 50mm, a 60mm macro, a 28-135mm and a Sigma 30mm(one of those is on the body) and some little accessories(batt, cards, lens cloth, etc.). I still have room for one or two normal sized lenses or a few small primes(now that would be craming it a bit). If you have a large tele, like a 70-200mm that will take up a lot more room, or if you have a grip on the body that will also take up more room. The 6mil seems to be good for street/general purpose without being too big(in my opinion). If you carry alot of gear i would go with the 7mil or get one of their messengers and get the photo bucket to go inside it. Hope this helps.
