Moose Peterson Bag - 05-31-2008, 09:01 AM

I wanted to ask if anyone uses or has an opinion of Moose Peterson's camera bags. I am looking at the MP3C http://www.moosepeterson.com/gear/mp3.html as I have a trip to Alaska this summer and most of my travel will be in small bush planes wilderness cabins and fishing boats. So I do not want a hard sided bag as it may be hard to stow. Anyway I am looking for suggestions.
Thanks

I really like that bag. If it wasn't so expensive I'd get one. Maybe the fat guy will take care of it for me.

i have two of his bags. basically they do as advertised. small bags with a lot of space for cameras lens etc. the larger bag can be caried as a backpack, but is not designed to be carried this way for long distances (ie doesent have the bulky but comfortible straps on most other quality bags). but then he clearly says that in advertisements.

the only issue I have had with the bags. on both, one place pulled the material away from the threads after a few uses. the first was fixed free pretty quickly and has not been a problem since. I just have not sent the other in yet.

It is exactly as advertised and will hold an amazing amount of gear. Easy access and I had no problems with loading in small planes in Africa or with any international flights.
