LowePro: Credit where Credit is Due - 06-18-2008, 07:25 PM

I use the LowePro 300 Slingshot bag. I find that bag to be the most useful and comfortable for my use.

Last week I had a problem with one of the zippers. It would not engage, so I called LowePro the next morning to find out if they can direct me to a local place to get it fixed.

The guy who answer told me to email him my address where he could send me a new bag. He asked that when I got the new bag to return the damaged bag back with a note that it was already replaced.

5 days later I received a new bag.

Not only are LowePro bags the best but their service is first class...
I wanted to let all TPFers know.

Always nice to hear about a company that does right by their customers. This isn't the first story like this I've heard about LowePro. It also reminds me I have a backpack with a broken zipper I need to talk to them about.

Not only LowePro, but I use Hartmann luggage and Waterman pens for the same reason. Excellent customer service.

That's awesome. I've never had a problem with either of my Lowepro bags (or my aging Tamrac for that matter), but it's nice to know they'll stand behind their products.

Thats good to know, I have to say I was really impressed with Kata. I don't even own a bag of theirs but wanted some of the mesh bags they send with their bags. I emailed them to find out how I could get some. She asked for my address and then a week later I had a set sent from Israel. Props to them.
