Naneu bags

This is a discussion on Naneu bags within the Camera Bags & Cases forums, part of the Photography Information category; Never heard of these bags before. They are supposed to be very heavy duty. Just thought I'd share... http://www.naneupro.com/products/mo-s/# ' ...

mine's been in heavy use for a few years, not a single issue. U220 in particular. Highly recommend.

Had one of their backpacks but the straps were a little too thin for me, sold it. I own one of the notebook+camera gear bags, and the strap fell apart (metal hardware snapped), otherwise the bag holds up nicely. Their dividers (how the velcro sewed on, the stiffness of the dividers) isn't on par with Lowepro or Tamrac but the price usually can't be beat.

Dan, I actually replaced a Lowepro with my Naneu. The Lowepro had a shredded carry strap after 6 months and threads pulling out in several places. And since I've had the NP quite a bit longer, I've treated it a lot worse. At the moment I have the backpack in the car for the computer, and the camera section is kept separate. I do have to admit that separated, the camera section is a bit cumbersome as the handle is in the wrong place for carrying it separately. Having the separate camera section makes it fit (as 2 pieces) in any overhead bin however as it was too fat fully loaded for some smaller overhead bins.

The names of the bags made me think of "Black Hawk Down", But the bags do look like they are ready to rock.

tactical wise, I dont think you could beat MAxpedition gear. but I dont think they make camera gear.

I've got a couple - holster and large BackPack

I like the backpack, except for one problem - the waist buckle snapped and broke in under a week. I replaced it with a real Backpack one from Academy, so no big deal.
