Hey guys, I believe I found this lens on the best buy website for 129.99$ is this a good price? Im looking for a good macro lens at a Cheap price (im a college student) im also looking at a set of kenko extension tubes. If I got those with this len would that be a good macro set up. for a relatively cheap price?

If I was you I would look into Canon's 100mm Macro the non IS L version. It is a great lens and sharp. From my experience (and it's limited in macro) you want a little more reach with macro (unless your not shooting bugs and such). You can usually find it used or new for around $500 less if you get used (nothing wrong with used. I am not sure how much the tubes are on top of the 50mm 1.8 but this would be my suggestions. Review on the Lens I am talking about

PS: Gig'em
