Really nice! Been thinking about a trip to Spain for awhile and these definitely make me want to go. I like them all - especially the panorama and the musician and his dog. more......

I went to Spain in 1973 as a graduation present from my parents. It was the best gift they could have ever given me. I landed in Toremolenos on the Mediteranean. I get to brag that I have actually swam in the Mediteranean Sea. It was damn cold in April, but I still swam in it.
We went up through Toledo and many other villages on our way to Madrid. What a beautiful country! And the cathedrals and castles are simply amazing. It was a fantastic 3 weeks for a 17 year old kid that had up to that point never been more than 100 miles from home......

I was there in 73 as well, as a side trip to a summer "studying" in London. Enjoyed Madrid and Toledo. Wanting to see much more of the country now. Like Chuck, I was a teenager and that trip was part of my first great adventure out into the world. I still have the slides I took.....must find and scan some for a good laugh.

Oh Lisa, that would be wonderful. I think the most memorable prt was going to the Valey of the Fallen. It was an unbelievable sight.
Ooohh, I guess that means we're near the same "middle age", huh?
