I had some time to kill the other day so I wandered around Rice and took some shots. It was very overcast and decent light rarely poked through. Most were shot with an old school Tamron 24-70 zoom, some with a Sigma 30mm 1.4.

Did you have any problems while shooting? I have spoken to the folks in the community relations office numerous times, asked to talk to supervisors, to managers, etc., about coming on campus to shoot personal architecture pictures... even to the point of faxing them the pages from their own website about being open to personal use photography, and they have flatly denied permission. One person (would need to look up her name) told me about 6 months ago that I would be bodily escorted off the campus if they found me there shooting...

No problems, but it was a Saturday afternoon and campus was dead. Not to mention I don't look like a photographer and wasn't using a tripod.
