Fred, I love them. The exposure is just perfect. I love the starbursts in the first one and I love that bit of blue sky in the second one. The color tones are wonderful! Have you tried a perspective correction in the second one? It is interesting as shot, but I was wondering what a correction might look like.

Thanks so much for the kind words but I have to confess, These are HDRs 3 exp at 2 stops apart. As for the correction I did try it but really wasnt happy with the look. Maybe I didnt do it right but it seemed a bit unbalanced. Bottom looked squashed and the sky had too much void.
Thinking of going back down and doing a few more. Lots of interesting old buildings to shoot, and at 4:30 in the morning not a soul to mess with. Must admitt, Galveston PD standing behind me did offer some piece of mind thou,

I wondered if they were HDR, but I couldn't tell. That's a good thing. You are really good at that HDR processing if it isn't apparent!

I have a hard time doing perspective corrections too.

Look forward to seeing more!

I like the images and I like HDR that doesn't look like a painting.

Very nice HDR, I like the comps overall, but I'd crop off the left side on the first (take out back of truck and stop sign edge) and clone out the "end road work" sign. Also I'd clone out the truck on the second shot. Then these would be just about perfect :)
