Amateur shot - stash or trash? - 01-25-2011, 02:52 AM

I was experimenting for the 1st time with long exposure night shots over the weekend. I can't decide if there is anything here or not with this shot, so throw your opinions at me. I kept debating whether to hit delete or not, but there is something about it that I think I might like.

Stash or trash?

Rather than upload it here I am including a link to my blog since it's already there. Mods, If this is not allowed just let me know. There is nothing at all commercial about my amateur blog. Just geting started here, so any feedback is a learing experience for me.

Thanks in advance!

I know how to post it, but i didn't want I wasn't sure I wanted to waste the bandwith and the broken link, if I wind up trashing it. Especially since I could just link to my blog. I do appreciate your intentions. Thanks.

Just figured you'd get more response if people didn't have to click through to see it, also since a lot of people check the forum through the Taptalk app this makes it possible for them to see it as well without leaving the app.
I like it, wasn't sure if I liked the flags at first but they're growing on me

Doesn't do anything for me. I'd trash it.

Good points. I just learned of Taptalk yesterday and it seems pretty useful. Thanks again for your help and feedback.

I think it would be a keeper with a different editing style. I was going to try it, but I am respecting your profile choice of "others cannot edit my photos". If you change your mind on editing, repost the pic, unedited and let us have a crack at editing it.

I don't think it's bad, but it's mostly an architectural shot right now as there is nothing else going on. I like the semi transparent flags. What you might try to do is play with midtone contrast to make it more dramatic.
