I love the pair together. The one is so bright and colorful, makes you think of lots of people having fun in the sun, then the second is tranquil like the end of a good day. This first is a little too saturated to me, I'd probably tone it back just a little, but that is me.

I don't even think I did much of anything to that one other than the LR raw conversion. The colors in miami were crazy! lol

Dennis, I like #2 more. I would even crop a little off the bottom and the right to shrink the foliage which is distracting. #1 has beautiful colors but too many distracting elements competing with the main subject.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I LOVE #1. It screams Miami, bright, happy (and yes, a little bit of that chaos always associated with dragging the entire family to the beach). #2 is a beautiful shot, but it seems kind of somber to me. It's a very different attitude than the first picture.
