Finally... some creativity and experimentation! Love it.
You do all your own developing?

Ditto! So when you say that you cook your film in the developer, are you actually using hot water for developing? Wow. I just use my water at room temperature.

yeah, i develop all the color film myself. when i say i "cook" my developer, i mean i overheat it. on spec is says to heat it at 102 degrees. i have gone as far as 115 degrees. but keep in mind i am also using expired slide film developed in C-41 instead of developing it in E-6 like its meant to...i also some times soak my film in rubbing alcohol. or microwave it for a brief second. sometimes in the oven as well. nail polish & hydrogen peroxide are also a fav soaking solution. sometimes a combo of all the above.

______,

I love the fact that you are trying, experimenting, daring to be different. Keep it up. Something may come of it. But not yet.
Your work is missing the mark. The images don't move me. They don't stir anything within my consciousness. There is nothing in the images that make me linger.
There is a thin line between art and mistakes. These look like mistakes. I know you did them on purpose and that is what I am trying to say. Something is missing for me. Your images fall on the side of the line that they are just a bunch of mistakes. Push it more, push your images so far on the other side of the line, into the art, that there is no doubt you are creating instead of harnessing mistakes.

RE: Michael Wayne

i understand that more people will not like or be into the style of photography that i do than people that will be into it...and that is exactly the way i like it. I love feedback, and i thought your feedback was well put. not everyone has the same likes and dislikes. i do enjoy experimenting with different developing times, temps, and combinations of soaking chemicals. i might be more interested in the process than the images themselves...the set i posted about was a minimal set more so focused on the processing rather than the images themselves. they are not the best of what i represent, more so about pushing the limits of chemistry & processes. thanks again for your words....i love honesty!

sincerely,
