Few shots of the museum district - I forgot to charge my battery before going. Got to stop doing that!

The bride is pretty funny.

#1, maybe try adjusting your black point to get more of a siluette.
#2 I like the composition. Looks like it may have been hazy though.
#3 Cool shot but it is hard to tell what is in focus.

Thanks Keith. I really need to work on getting my focus right. Jake had suggested using live view, but the screen is apparently darker than what the photo takes, which makes it hard to focus. Guess it's just going to take practice.

Are you using a manual lens? Sometimes it can be tough in very high contrast shots with strong back lighting, like the last and the first.

Maybe a dumb question, but what are the concentric rings seen in the sky behind the statue? Sun flare?
