For some reason (I'm sure there's a technical/scientific reason) nice clouds don't seem to form over large metropolitan areas that much. I've been trying to get clouds above Dallas forever and I either get nothing or just plain grey bland clouding... no puffy, white, cumulous or other neat clouds.

I like your shot very much. I've only been through Houston a couple of times so it's always nice to see shots of it.

My only gripe with you shot is it seems a bit tight. I'd like to see a bit more breathing room on the top and bottom.

It was chopped due to my poor panoramic skills.
I think you may be right, unless there isnt a storm taking place, there is nothing.

Thanks for the comments.

Nice pano. Where did you shoot this from? And, did you feel safe there after dark?

I'd love to shoot the skyline sometime. great job!

as far as clouds go, there aren't many big fluffy ones at night.. no fuel (heat) to build them unless there's a storm system passing.
