So, I shot my second time on the old trolley system in Uptown Dallas tonight. My first time was two weeks ago and it was a bit of a learning experience. Tonight, I did much better and came away with some really nice shots for a time-lapse. I took about 1000 frames for this time-lapse which I'll post later when I get everything assembled. Overall, I'm very happy with it and I think it's really going to add a neat touch to my time-lapse film I'm working on.
What ya think?
I call this:
Trolley Time Machine
A bit about this trolley, it was originally built in 1909 in Philadelphia and named the Crescent Rose. It was then exported to Porto, Portugal where it was in service daily until 1978. It was then shipped back to the states where it saw service in San Francisco and was finally bought and brought to Dallas. All in all, this car has seen 97 years of use and it is just a beauty. It's affectionately nick-named "Rosie".
