Not me. The wires are part of the scene. they work. Where do you find these places?

Here's some interesting info on Benevides and Archer Parr

Head south to nowhere and then go another 10 miles. But... it's more populated than Mirando City.

I didn't feel like going to all the trouble to clone out the wires. Especially in the second image. The quality of the image didn't warrant the effort

I really like #2, and the wire being exactly in the middle has an interesting visual effect. Very neat building.

Couple things- If you happen to be in the area a tilt-shift lens is pretty handy to have and the face of the building is a better morning subject than an evening subject

Spend some time with henrysamson here on the forum, look at his box of prints, and you will find that the wires can be made to be a good part of the picture. He shoots in a lot of old town areas, especially up in the Mid-Atlantic states, where the towns were there long before the electricity was and there is no way to avoid the wires... so he makes them a compositional element in the picture. Wayne's right on this one...
