Saw this after eating a chicken sandwich at restaurant-fil-a. This is more Suburban Life, as it's on the way to a Hobby Lobby, 24 Hour Fitness, Burlington Coat Factory, Home Depot, Wal-Mart and Sam's. Maybe it should be "Don't stop loving strip malls."

I just knew someone was going to bring up the "4 Way" sign. I almost cropped it out but didn't want a square image. Living in the suburbs is square enough as it is (no swingers on my block).

D*** YOU, TOM!

Thanks for nuthin' for:

(1) Putting that 4-way image in my all-too-easily distracted head.

(2) Reminding me that because I'm old enough to understand the "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice" reference, I'm also old enough not be having those kind of thoughts any more.

Sincerely yours,
Jeff the Curmudgeon

I didn't worry so much that I was the same age as Tom...I worried that my mind was as perverted as his....since my thoughts went down the same 4-way path!! That's not a good sign...literally

Having been exiled in Cincinnati OH for a time, home of "Cincinnati Chili" that comes 3-way, 4-way and 5-way, that's where my head went first. I spent 9 years trying to convince them there's nothing "chili" about a dish that is so runny you can sip it through a straw and it's poured over spaghetti but what do they know. You'd get laughed out of town (if not worse) trying to pass it off as chili in Texas!

Dude!! I see that sign at least twice a week. I stop at that same CFA on my way to church meetings. There's another one closer to my house that says , "STOP ...Hammer Time" I have a picture of that one somewhere.

Dyan Cannon was born in 1937 and she was really in her prime when I was a teenager. I'm guessing she's 71, now. Wonder what she looks like, today.

My apologies for not commenting on the photo, but I've been distracted, now.
