Hi Robin / Marc

Quick one, what's the difference between this event and the MMM one? Aside the fees and locations of course =)

Also, how far away is the DOD location say coming from Pearland?

Thanks a bunch.

Marius the location and theme are really the biggest difference.

It's still going to be models, there will still be other photographers, make up artists etc.

It will still be a shoot in which you can add photos to your portfolio and try new things.

The other big difference of course will be models. The MMM will have models from over in the Austin/San Antonio area while the DOD will have Houston based models (primarily).

Both events will attract lots of people, and you'll be able to meet some great people.

Thanks guys.

So, looking at the slide show and some pics from last year, DOD is more geared towards Halloween? or was it by coincidence?

While MMM is more regular fashion and glam?

I liked SOS that's why I want to try out at least one of these other events too.

Great question and it was asked last year as well.

NO - this is not a HALLOWEEN shoot. It's set for October, because the weather is cooler this time of year. The Dramatic Makeup is geared to WOW us and add that Unique Dramatic Look to your portfolio. If you go get a makeup artist on your own to try this out, you will pay more than $50.

This is a popular workshop; alot of photographers have been waiting for this one to return. We have local agencies send their makeup artist teams to work with us on this. The beauty editor from yellow magazine will be coming to do makeup as well.

Wow, this is close to the house! Nice group of models too. Couple of questions:
1. Model Release provided or left up to individual model / photographer? I don't mind sharing my images with each model.

2. Is the shoot structured or is it a shoot free-for-all? I generally don't like having others shooting over me, etc.?

Thanks Marc & Robin!

Greg, Hows it going? Great questions.

1. We alway provide Model Releases to benifit the photographer. We scan them after the event and you will have them within 24 hours. We only hope you share a few great images to the models.

2. This workshop will be a "free for all", because of the amazing location and the models will be changing makeup and clothes about three times. Last year one guy set up his studio lights at one location and brought the models to him one at a time. He got some amazing photos from it.

3. We will be posting a few more models before the event. It's one of the more popular workshops and you will be able to shoot without us shooting over your shoulder. lol

Count Me In - Im new to these workshops - but I love the idea of being able to work on my posing and photography skills without the pressure of trying to make money out of the whole thing. I think it will be fun!
When is the last day I can sign up - and can I bring an assitant to hold my lighting with me (she will NOT be taking photos at all)?

When/how do we get the address of the location?
