It would be great to have you join us, Abel. I'd even throw in some Dirt Cheap Photo Tours logo attire that I'm having made by our friend John of Great Threads....!

Did this cruise a year ago...great photo ops, but watch out for Jamaica...it isn't a place you want to hang out in the wrong areas!

I've been to Jamaica many, many times and the areas we visit from the port of Montego Bay are far away from the questionable areas of the island.

Plus, we'll be in chartered vehicles with drivers I've used in the past. So it will be safe and fun.

Looks pretty cool, but a single guy always gets the shaft on crusies. I would have to pay for two people to get a private room, that always kills any desire I have ever had to take a cruise.

Well, considering that we have literally thousands of photographers on TPF - perhaps someone will step forward and offer to split a room with you, Rob.

Thats just it, I would rather have a private room. No offenese to any TPF members. I have always thought it ashame that crusies punish people that may want to go on a cruise but want to have a private room. I understand why they do it, I just think its excessive on their part. I mean I would be willing to pay a premium for a private room but to pay double fare is a bit too much in my opinion.

There are two Rose Hall locations - one is a Hilton Resort and the other is the old supposedly "haunted" mansion. We may swing by the mansion, but we will definitely be going to the White Witch Golf Cluf which is high atop the mountains near Rose Hall and has a spectacular panoramic view.

We'll also hit a couple of picturesque beaches and several scenic spots as well as a couple of off the beaten path places near Montego Bay. We'll shoot together for four or five hours and then return to the port so you can connect with your spouse or signficant other for some time together on the island.
