Ever wish you could have the chance to work with multiple models in multiple situations all on one day and build an impressive portfolio? Are you a portrait photographer who is looking for those "wow" photos for your website or portfolio? Then, this workshop is for you. Someone once said "it's like Disneyland for photographers".
This is your chance to spend the day with multiple models and photograph them in different situations. There will be professional portrait photographers present to help guide and instruct during the shoot.
This is setting up to be our very best workshop ever! We have begun screening models for this shoot and think you will be excited as to the caliber of models attending. We have a few guest teachers coming to help guide the various shoots, which we announce in the coming weeks. The location is beautiful and the winery is very exclusive and their wines can be found in the $60 - $120 per bottle range. The winery is looking for commercial photos for their website and other promotions, this is your opportunity not only to grab some great photos but may also give you the chance to have your work used in an actual commercial campaign.
The workshop will be held on Sunday April 26th, 2009 at the Behrens Family Winery in St. Helena, CA. The class will run from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and drinks, snacks and lunch will be provided. The cost is $160.00 with a special of $135.00 per person or $230.00 per couple if pre-paid by. This is your opportunity to both learn and build your portrait portfolio with multiple models, both male and female, kids, and families. Join us whatever your skill level from beginner to professional looking to round out a portfolio. We will shoot a very special "High Fashion" session, which will add some jaw dropping photos to your portfolio. Don't miss out on a full day of shooting with great photographers and multiple models.
At the end of the day you should have a full portfolio of quality photos to present to potential clients. The event will be geared to provide something for every skill level from the beginner to professional.
Models will include both professional and amateur, male and female, kids, families and teens for senior portraits.
Erna Schein is a boutique winery in the truest sense. Owned by Les Behrens and Lisa Drinkward, who’ve made wine under the Behrens & Hitchcock label since 1993, Erna Schein produces small lots of six or seven wines a year at its winery perched high on top of Spring Mountain in Napa Valley. Each wine is a low tech labor of love: crushed into one-ton T-bins, punched down by hand, gently transferred to barrel, and bottled unfined and unfiltered. One only has to look at Les and Lisa’s hands during harvest to know their wines are truly “hand-crafted.” The couple also gravitates toward small, interesting and low-yielding vineyard sites, primarily in Napa Valley and Mendocino County, working with growers who they know, like and trust, and who are as obsessive about quality as they are. For Les and Lisa, it’s all about letting the vineyards steal the show, and allowing the wines to speak for themselves.
