This workshop covers, through live, real-time demonstrations, how to quickly and easily create professional looking photographs of your sculpture or similar items using an inexpensive table top setup.
You will learn:
- How to set up a seamless background to use as the basis for your photograph.
- The basics of lighting in order to add a truly dimensional look to your photograph.
- How to correct the color balance of your photograph so that it will look natural.
- How to get your digital image from your camera to your computer.
- The basics of using Photoshop Elements to process your photograph to a form that can be used for print, email and the internet (eBay).
- How to resize your photograph to meet the specified requirements of galleries and shows.
The computer information presented in the class covers beginner’s levels of Photoshop Elements 6 (Mac) or 7 (Windows) and is applicable for both Macintosh and Windows.
The included CD contains video tutorials for:
- How to set up and take a tabletop photograph
- How to get your images into your computer
- How to open and process a RAW image
- How to open and process a jpeg image
- How to float an image by replacing the background
- How to resize and save images for print, email and the internet
