10/18 Intro Studio Lighting Workshop - SOLD OUT! - 08-10-2009, 09:10 PM

10/18 WORKSHOP IS SOLD OUT!

Registration is still open for a second session on 11/1.

For those who are looking for a comprehensive approach to studio photography lighting taught by a master photographer, but unable to pay $600 and more for workshop events, these are the workshops for you.

Upcoming dates for the Adam Chilson Photography Workshops series at D. M. Gremlin Studios in Long Beach, CA:

October 18, 2009 - Introductory Lighting Techniques, 10am-7pm, $180 **SOLD OUT**

November 1, 2009 - Introductory Lighting Techniques, 10am-7pm, $180 **Open for Registration**

This workshop is the precursor to Advanced Lighting Techniques which will be offered again in early 2010.

Instructor: Adam Chilson, MM#19554
MUA: Lisa Berczel, MM#47292

Workshop instructor Adam Chilson (MM#19554) creates his jaw-dropping imagery through the lens, using little and often zero Photoshop or digital post-editing, and teaches from this perspective.

The studio lighting workshop series focuses on controlled lighting techniques for portrait and artistic nude photography, along with set-building elements to create eye-catching images. Each full-day workshop combines demonstration and discussion of lighting setups with hands-on practice, and multiple shooting sets with fine art models.

Workshops include full makeup and styling by Lisa Berczel (Battledress Paint-n-Body, MM#47292) to complete the polished look of the images shot within the class.

Models are TBA; announcement to follow in late September.

All workshops limited to eight photographers, registration by advance payment.

Two spots are confirmed with a third pending. We haven't even announced our models yet!

Those interested, please inquire to studio@dm-gremlin.com to register and confirm your spot in our longest-running and most sought-after workshop.

This workshop is suitable for photographers interested in the fundamentals of studio lighting - whether you are just starting out, or experienced in photography outside of the studio environment.

This workshop is SOLD OUT.

We are considering adding another session on 11/1 and I will post to confirm, if so.

We are still booking for the 11/8 Advanced Lighting Techniques session, and we offer private instruction sessions from beginner to master class level, scheduled one-on-one with the client, on an ongoing basis.
