Lingerie Photo shoot - Sacramento

Lingerie Photo shoot (4:30 until 8:00)

Class size is limited 6 students and I have two openings still

This will be a 3.5 hours session that will cover the following topics:

• Lighting equipment overview (~15 minutes)
o Overview of the Studio Strobes (AlienBee)
o Camera settings review
• Overview of the lighting setups (~15 minutes)
o We will have two 2 light setups

The half first hour will be an overview of the equipment and lighting. The next 3 hours will be shooting in a round robin fashion with a ~20 minute break for a wardrobe change. We will have two shoot locations setup and each will have a model for you to shoot. We will split in to two groups of 3 students and a mentor (Andy or I) and we will rotate the groups between the stations. You will shoot each of the two models twice at each setup with a wardrobe change halfway through the workshop.

The Meetup will be in Sacramento, CA at a hotel suite. I will send the address to each paid participant.

Notes:
• Light snacks and beverages will be provided
• Participants will receive a promotional model release
• Wardrobe theme will be lingerie for both models (no implied poses)

Items to bring:
o Camera with a flash shoe or PC socket
o Wide zoom (24 to 70 mm lens ) or similar fixed lenses
o Optional:
- PocketWizard if you have it

What NOT to bring:
o Tripod - with a group this size it is too much to have everyone moving them around
o Video camera - no videotaping during the workshop (should go without saying)
o Guests - everyone there must be enrolled in the workshop, no exceptions!

Okay folks. If you are so inclined to take these type of images, I highly recommend John's classes.

I've taken a couple of them and came away with not only some cool shots but a better understanding of lighting.

Unfortunately, I am unable to attend this one.
