Thanks for the heads up on this.

Well I just got all registerfied for the Houston seminar. VIP seating! But I bet that is like the "if you call in the next ten minutes ..." line on infomercials.

And BTW if anyone is as stupid as me and did NOT print your E-Ticket when you got the chance at the receipt page you can go to tix.com and enter your email address and password and print it from your "current transactions".

But I bet no one is as stoopid as me.

So who else is going?

Prophet out.

ok, what the heck. For fitty bucks, if I pick up one or two things I'll be happy. Got my VIP ticket for Houston.

So who knows more about these guys?

If you have never seen Monte, you owe it to yourself to go. He is one great teacher and a real Master photographer. I spent a week with him at Texas School some 25 years ago, and I can't believe he is still doing this. I will be here in Houston to see him again. And if you don't know, Eddie Tapp is Photo Shop guru.

Zucker Seminar - 08-23-2006, 04:00 AM

Don't miss this one.
Monte Zuckeris the godfather of beautiful light. If you want to learn how to light and pose, he's the man. His work has set trends in wedding photography for many years. I went to several of his programs years ago and I still use what I learned.

Great meeting. Monte is still teaching the same techniques he used 25 yrs. ago and they are timeless. The shots he did of Lisa Murphy were just beautiful. Also picked up several tips from Eddie Tapp. I guess I will have to buy his book though, because I just couldn't take notes that fast.

It was too dark to take notes on just my hands, and anyway, I had my eyes and ears GLUED to what Monte and Eddie were doing and saying! I walked out STILL thinking "No Way could this be only a $50 ticket!) Not being a "people photog", lets just say I was ASTOUNDED at the ease of getting FANTASTIC photos of people just by knowing light and posing! (Bill, what was the THIRD thing?)
