DFW: Photography Workshop - September 16th - 08-27-2006, 01:31 AM

Well due to a change in my studio situation, it looks like I'll be able to conduct workshops at my studio. So after a bit of a layoff, I am once again hosting a photography workshop on September 16th.

The featured model for the workshop is Debbie Beal. I've worked with Debbie more than any other model this last year and I can tell you she is fantastic to work with and a lot of fun too. I will add a second feature model if I get enough signups.

The workshop will be like my last workshop, designed to provide eduation to those in attendance, not just have the lights set up and let you shoot. I did my last workshop like this and had a lot of positive feedback from it.

Here is a picture of Debbie and a link to find out more details about my workshop and see more photos of her...

Forgot to mention that I will have an Adobe photoshop workshop on the 23rd of September. The link above will take you to those details as well.

Man I would love to attend but my brain will only handle so much at a time and school is filling it up right now. Anyone good at anatomy and physiology????

Hopefully I'll finish these hard classes next semester and things will calm down then I'll be able to attend the classes I really like!!! Photography!

Saturday seminars are extremely hard to attend if you do any sort of wedding, portrait, etc. If they were on Sunday, or in the evening there would be a chance I could attend.

Maybe next time..???

I am going to attempt to hold these on a more regular basis. I expect that even if they are successful, the classes will still be smaller since it is on a more regular basis. So a Sunday session might be happening very soon!

Is there a limit to the number of people in either workshop?

I'd like to attend the 9/16/06 workshop, but I may have to wait for a later date.

With the size of my studio I can accomodate up to 12 photographers. However, I generally like to keep it at no more than six photographers per feature model. Since this is a non-nude workshop, I figure attendance will be less than a nude workshop so I am only planning on 6 photographers.

I haven't really thought about a limit on the Adobe photoshop class yet. I am not sure how it is going to go over anyway, so I am playing that by ear.
