DFW: Basic Studio Lighting - June 16th

This class is for those who want to know the basics of lighting and how to do it without spending a small fortune. We'll cover how to look at light, basic on camera flashes, reflectors, simple monolight setups, and hot lights. We will do both standard and creative lighting setups. There will be an hour and a half to two hour class where we will cover the topics, then we will have a model in studio for about 3 hours to do some demonstration and give you a chance to shoot using the various light setups. The model will sign model releases for everyone, so you can use the shots in a portfolio.
Instructor: Brad Barton

Experience Level: Novice to semi-advanced.

In order to get the most from this workshop, you need to have a basic understanding of how to operate your camera outside of the automatic modes, including how to set a custom white balance. You can get by with Auto White Balance and auto-exposures, but you will get more out of the workshop if you don't use those modes.

Class size is limited to 7 photographers.
