I am sooo kicking myself. I totally slept through coming to your house on sunday for my sensor cleaning and burger. Allergies were really kicking my butt last weekend and all my "may cause drowsiness" meds kicked in full force and knocked me out for almost all of sunday for much needed sleep.

hopefully next time scott's in town I can bribe him for a sensor cleaning.

Finally got a little quiet time tonight and couldn't resist digging into some of our workshop images. Here's Kari...

A special thank you to Jodi for coming by for croplines while we were in the middle of this shoot. When I asked Kari to model for me I was telling her I'd like to use this screen, and how I bought it with this one particular image... shy child hanging onto to Mom at the screen door... in mind. What timing that Jodi showed up with the perfect little darlin' to play the part! I love it when things fall into place like that!

Lol! Such a sad shot.. a Nikon shooter with a red Canon CF holder attached to his strap, a Mark III slung under the other arm (does that make me bi-curious?), elbow up, oblivious to the fact that there's a SHUTTER RELEASE AND AF BUTTON ON THE BATTERY GRIP.... beautiful woman artfully composed by Fran Reisner 30 feet away, and he wants dancing dog pictures...

Oh well, you can lead a horse to water....

The family I had model for the workshop came in yesterday to preview their images. Loved 'em! These are the images they ordered. 24x30 canvas of Preston on the steps.

Darling, it just means you are on the road to better world...The Canon World. You gotta start somewhere! Even if it is only a CF holder.

<--- Secretly hopes the D3xs will leap-frog the 1ds MarkIII - which it does. In my mind.

I also have a pet unicorn and the gift of flight there. LOL!

Smile Workshop Buzz! - 09-26-2007, 04:19 PM

Hi Fran! A couple of things....thanks for a wonderful workshop. It is quite obvious to me that I am truly a beginner in this industry. However, I enjoyed your style of teaching, that was informative, comfortable, and I found it very easy to ask questions and receive answers without feeling "out of place". I learned so many things that generated ideas and a creativity that I didn't realize I had. My brain is still buzzing! I am even more excited that ever to follow and develop MY passion. It is a little scary that I took so long in finding my passion, but I'm even more convinced that I will succeed and succeed with excellence. Your warmth, passion and commitment is refreshing. I look forward to enjoying this new phase in my life and I am pleased to have met so many wonderful people at the workshop. Thanks for a fabulous workshop and I'm sure we will meet again.

Linda
