I tried to upgrade to CS4 and after many emails and telephone call finally gave up and decided I could live with CS3. Got my money back.

Thanks! Combine that with a stomach virus that ran through my house in 72 hours (actually had to take the baby to the ER because her pediatrician thought she might be getting dehydrated)... and it's been an 'enjoyable' weekend...

Turns out - my VISTA program had an issue with it - and because I didn't want to wipe my C drive (where my OS is installed) we made a quick trip down to Fry's and picked up a 1TB HD for around 100, and I'm going to install Vista on the new hard drive.

In a couple of months - cause I'm anal about budgeting for this kind of crap - I'm gonna pick up a solid state HD and install just my programs/OS on it. Then I'll use the 1TB HD that I just got, and the one that has my CURRENT OS on it for backup/storage.

My husband is in the process of putting the new HD in as I speak.

Turns out it wasn't Adobe's fault... lol... go figure.

I would have created another user and given admin rights, delete the adobe keys and cache and installed it.

Finally got it fixed!

I bought a new hard drive, installed the OS on that, moved my old hard drive and installed creative suites 4 with no problem. Stupid VISTA issue.

I had to finish up a NILMDTS session and get it mailed off - but will work on your logo tonight!

I'll add this to my lengthy and ever growing list of reasons to remain on XP Pro as long as possible and avoid Vista like the plague.

Glad you got it fixed, Cajungaltx.
