Projector? - 08-18-2009, 11:44 PM

I'm not sure this exactly fits in this area since it's not a computer, but...

I'm wanting to purchase a projector so I can start projecting clients' images large during an ordering session. I don't know where to begin. I'm guessing the quality of the projector affects how the images look on the screen/wall? What brand/specs should I look at to buy?

I appreciate it!

Amanda - Ron Nichols (he's a HUGE believer in projection proofing sessions) and does a big thing on projectors and through the company he recommends - projector people - you can get the complete setup - projector/electronic drop down screen, and other stuff you need to do it - for $1400 or so.

47" vizio with independant red green blue adjustments which will allow spyder pro calibration

Sam's Club - 47" Vizio LCD 1080p 120Hz HDTV

75' vga cable to allow for permanent attachment to a computer sitting anywhere in the room and installed easily down dry-wall for cable free appearance.
Cables to Go 75ft Pro Series HD15 M/M UXGA Monitor Cable and other Monitor Cables/Adapters at CDW.com

That is -- if you have a permanent proofing room.

47" is gonna be pretty dadgum large for a small 10x10 room.

Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself!
