No brag. Just sharing it for the benefit of those who are thinking about it. :-)

I picked mine up from Staples for $199. B&H has it for the same price. I wanted the 4x6, or what they call small now. I have a 6x9 and a 4x5 Graphire and found that I prefer the smaller tablet. Less arm movement for me.

I agree on the smaller thing. I've found that a 4x6 is plenty for what I do. I don't want to hold the thing in my lap.
They should really make a keyboard with one built in, so that you can access PS/LR shortcuts while still holding the pen. (I know they have little buttons now, but you can only have so many functions programmed to them)

I considered the small but was concerned that it would be too small. It's hard to know these things when you've never used one.

Eventually, I'll get another one, probably the small...

I've got the large one... got it for my birthday... and it's still in the box. Insane, I know... I'm redoing my pc to WIn7 - and decided I'd do the big swap out then. ;-)

I've been using mine for about two weeks now. What a world of difference, especially when editing images. And my wrist no longer hurts.

Do you guys find yourself using the pen to navigate all things, such as web pages and documents, or just image editing? Or do you use the mouse too?
I have a Bamboo and I use it for everything. Browsing, editing, file management etc. It's much more comfortable to me than a mouse. The down side is that it's getting worn out. The nub (or is it nib?) is wearing on one side, and there are scratches forming on the surface. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
