Using a bootable backup with a different computer? - 01-21-2010, 10:41 AM

I'm changing up my backup strategy a bit, and as a result, I plan on creating a bootable backup of my MacBook Pro's HD (running 10.5.8/Leopard currently).

That said, I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are any issues with using the bootable backup with another Mac (if say, my MBP gets stolen or get's destroyed)?

Thanks!

Nope ... I had a Bootable Back up once ... and it worked well between several computers from Home to different locations.

I upgraded the Hard Drive in my MacBook Pro ... so I have no need for the bootable back up now.
