Help with driver cord - 03-08-2010, 06:42 PM

Please pardon my lack of knowledge in my quest for this.

I am needing a cord/disc to download photos straight from my camera. I have the cf card but it does not fit into my computer. I am using microsoft vista and it says the camera is not compatible...any help would be great.

If I remember right, buying a card reader is the preferred method.
You should be able to get one for less than $20.

What program are you trying to down load to?

+1 on the card reader. it's faster and does not burn the camera's batteries. I paid a little more and got one from Rocket Fish, it's a 4-in-1 reader and folds down into itself, and fits in my case quite nicley. However even with a $10 reader you will get great results, and it will cost less than the cable specific to your camera.

A USB Card reader is the answer! hook it in via USB to your Vista computer and you should be just fine...
