Regarding firewire, my firewire card was never recognized by Windows 7. I later read in a Windows 7 forum, this one I think Windows 7 Forums - Windows 7 Forums , that MS left out support for firewire. The future favoring something called USB3. --------------------------- Canon 40D. Tamron 17-50 F2.8, Sigma 50-150 F2.8 HSM, Custom Brackets QRS-35-SV Camera Rotating Bracket, Copper Hill Sensor Cleaner. |

What brand and model is it? And, did Win7 accept without any problems? My box has a Gigabyte mb and a generic FW card with TX Instruments firmware. Don't know what my problem must be.
