Well, I went ahead and ordered one last night from B&H. I'm excited to be getting it this Friday. I'll run it on my PC until I get a Mac Mini in another month or so.

Just installed and calibrated tonight. It's beautiful but big. I'm gonna need a bigger desk.

Glad to hear you like it. I think it's a solid device with excellent performance and should last for years.

What are these like in comparison to the NEW Apple 24" displays?
I also have an old cinema display with the silver bezel and it's all kinds of burned in, making post processing quite annoying. But the apple displays which i always thought to be a bit expensive (but I always loved), are $799 and the NEC is over $1k.

Better in every way. Right now the "SV" version of the PA241 is the best 24" display on the market for photographers.

Actually, I paid $899.95 (free shipping) at B&H for my PA241W. After reading Scott's posts and doing some research myself, I decided it was the best way to go for me. I had my eye on an Eizo for several months, but it was almost $1300.

Click "Add to cart for lower price," which is what I paid.
