Where to buy used Macbook Pros that is reputable? - 06-16-2010, 07:03 AM

I am in the market for my wife a good condition, used 15 inch macbook pro laptop about 2-3 years old (2006 to 2007 model).

I have see some great prices at this place: DV Warehouse - refurbished & used mac computers, professional video editing equipment, used apple computer parts.

I am not sure if they are as reputable as they appear.

I am wondering if anyone can recommend any other place that use 2-3 year old macbooks or MB pros where I can get something around $1,000 or less for a 15 inch.

Thanks for the help.

They have a fair ResellerRatings.com score. Personally, I'd check Apple's website to see what they have. You'll pay a little more, but Apple does give you a warranty. BTW, if you're a NAPP member, you do get a discount (about 6%) which I think applies to both new and used at the Apple Store (and applies at their retail locations).

Thanks,

I think I am going with Powermax.com. They have excellent ratings and plenty of used macs.
