Hard Drive Dock in Dallas? - 06-24-2010, 12:52 AM

Does anyone know where to get a Hard Drive Dock in the Dallas area? I need to recover some files from my dead Desktop to my laptop and this looks to be the only way.

You are looking for an external HD Enclosure (might be a terminology difference). NewEgg has a great organization structure for this type of thing. It isn't local, but it will at least give you something to look for.

Newegg.com - External Enclosure, External Hard Drive Enclosure, USB External Enclosure, Multimedia External Enclosure

I've seen a hard drive dock at fry's that looked like this.

Amazon.com: Diablotek EN3525D Hard Drive Dock - 2.5"/3.5" SATA I/II to USB 2.0:…

or you could just order one online.

Yep. I was searching for Hard Drive Reader, I didn't even know what an enclosure was.
