I currently own an Antec P182. I'm looking to upgrade the case for a few reasons. If my PC were setup any differently then this case would be perfect.

As you can see in the close up photo of the PSU below there is a lot of stuff squished in that bottom section. I'm not real happy about the PSU being located down there. First of all there was a 120mm fan located on the PSU side to help move the hot air from the PSU and hard drives, but it had to go otherwise none of the cables would of fit. Second, all the extra slack from the power cables are stuffed in that section too further diminishing airflow. It was a nightmare feeding the SATA cables through the hole right underneath the lower video card. My fat hands didn't work well.

Tonight I discovered my two front USB ports are no longer working. This is a major bummer since I use them for everything. I'll troubleshoot that problem later.

Now, what cases would you recommend?

I would reccomend any case that puts the components where you want them. Be sure to get a good power supply rather than the cheapo ones that are sold with the cases.

Totally agree. IMO the PSU is the single most important part you should not cheap out on when you're building a system.

Shopping, buy COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Case - Retail at ChiefValue.com

The only thing I didn't like about the HAF is the hard drive mounting wasn't a screw down. Otherwise excellent case. Here is a promo I just received today.

I've built 8 or 9 home PCs over the years, and I have NEVER used a better brand than Lian Li. The cases are top notch, easy to work with, never cut your fingers, and have great cable management.

You get what you pay for, and in my opinion they are the best.

Why do all these newer case have bright LED lights either in the fans or on the case?

Sweet. I made a mistake by going to the Cooler Master website and saw the HAF-X (942). She's pretty!

Question to those that might know. Does the HAF 932 have front USB 2.0 or USB 3.0? If 2.0, how difficult would it be to make it 3.0? I'm trying to plan for the future when USB card readers finally get USB 3.0 and would hate to buy another case just to upgrade the front USB ports.

The HAf 932 is USB 2 and the physical connectors are different on USB 3.

Get the 942x
