Another question.
Apple TV. Let's say you have Apple TV and an iPad. Will Apple TV only work with streams from your iPads iTunes or can you also use Apple TV to show anything you do on your iPad on a big screen TV? So pretty much as a wireless vga adapter?

That's an interesting concept.
I just got an Apple TV (Second Gen) and love it. There is a feature called "Air Play" which is supposed to eventually let you stream video from your iPhone or iPad into your ATV. I think we're waiting on an update for video though. I think currently it only does audio. Don't quote me on any of that though :/

While you can control your ATV with your iPhone or iPad (using the Remote app) I don't think there's a way to display what you're seeing on your iPad onto your TV. It's a cool concept though, and would be perfect for viewing sessions.
FWIW, you can tap into your iTunes library and iPhoto library and view photos and do slideshows on your TV with the ATV. This plus the Remote app on iPhone makes for a slick interface on the TV.
