CS4 Problems...

I've been using CS4 since June with no problems. Today, I open CS4 and it shuts down automatically, and I get that 'crash report' problem thing.

I've restarted my computer several times, I've uninstalled CS4 and re-installed it, I've cleared out my browsing history, and reset everything I can think of. I've even gone back to time machine and restored it to a week ago.

Nothing!

I can open CS4, and it will open, but after 3 seconds of it being open it shuts itself down and gives me the problem report.

Any suggestions?

What module is the program error in?

Have you cleared preferences in PS by holding ctrl, alt, shift, and open Ps?
That fixes a lot of PS crashed. The pref file will get corrupted every once and a while.

What do you mean by module?

I just did the ctrl, alt, shift and open thing and it still did it.

did you just recently update that, then started having problems?

lots of probs with snow leopard.

my wife has CS4/OSX 10.6 and gets PS crashes constantly.. but I'm on CS3/SnowLeopard and haven't really had any problems with PS. But some other programs like Nikon View NX won't crashes immediately.

at work I'm using CS5/SnowLeopard and don't have any issues.

No. The computer and CS4 have ran flawlessly since I bought it in June.

It looks to me like the problem is with Kubotaimagetools. Do you have a plug-in installed by this name? First thing I would try is removing it. That is if you have the original software to reinstall. You could also verify this by moving that plug-in's folder temporarily and starting again.
