- frys had a $40 mail in rebate on it - so it ended up being $89.99 for the 8gb.

The power supplies suggested didn't have cables long enough... So I went with a thermaltake 750. It's got the flat cables and the main power cable for the mobo had enough length. I think that might be a design flaw... Or maybe a design implemented to make sure that you have to upgrade your PSU. ;-)

Anyway - putting it together tonight! I'll report back later! ;-)

it might have if I hadn't wanted it to actually route through the cable management system. ;-)

It's up and running - changed the memory reading in the bios to manual...put in the 9-9-9-24 numbers and it decided it did NOT like that....I'll have to play with it tomorrow...it's reading at 1033 right now...

Wierdest thing though - the case has two front USB3 ports....which are apparently ran by the 2 usb cables (part of the system cables) that you have to plug in the back on the motherboard??? Just wierd as heck...

USB 3 is not Nativity supported by MOBO's yet...therefore you have to have to use the getto cord through the case method.

Don't worry about the timing's yet, get it up and running, stable and then run AMD overdrive and read the timings. You can also use CPU-z to read the timings.

don't forget to go into the bios and disable unganged mode so that you can run dual channel. (remember to use the correct banks for the chips)
