This is a discussion on the iPad ...who's been using one? within the Computer Hardware forums, part of the Photography Information category; Ray, how about a release form that handsome devil with the IPad?
Does he do TFCD?...
Can you only view your photos in Sort Shots in a thumbnail or slideshow mode, or can you see it large and flick from one to the next as in teh built-in viewer?
This review was done before many new features were added with the last two updates.
I'm waiting on the re-release to get one. I learned a long time ago, especially with apple, to wait for the re-release. Bugs have been worked out and they usually will add features that should have been on there to engine with. Worth the wait. But now my epson viewer will need to get sold, no use for it.

I use it for everything. When I email from it the email shows replied on my MAC and if I add things to my calender it updates my wife's Calender and the one on my office machine as well. I can also process payments with it as well. I keep some work on it as well.
I use sortshots also and it competely simplifies having your clients pick their favorites. If your wondering how handy the iPad is, I'm thinking of trading my MacBook Pro for a MacPro so I can hook it up to my 30" ACD :)

One more tool to add to your list of useful, Ray: Display Link. If you have a WiFi connection for it and your computer, you can use it to have the iPad work as a secondary monitor to your desktop (works with both Mac and Windows). Its a cool way to use a sales tool like ProSelect -- you can work on your laptop while the client is seeing what you want to show them on the iPad.

Thanks for the link. Just downloaded it up. I have a two monitor setup so Display link basically added a third monitor. I'll have to play with the rsolution part a bit.
