Exclamation Serious computer inquiry: Millers Remote Suite Plus help - database issue - 01-18-2011, 01:23 PM

I'm cross posting in the business section as well cause it's about labs...but I'm praying someone can help with this. Every 'technical' savvy person from Millers is apparently at Imaging...

Short & sweet version. Was in process of uploading an order - left my computer doing that overnight. Had several orders come in - but nothing from the 2 orders that were uploading overnight (one proofing, one prints).

Got a new computer - with a new c drive - did a clean install of Win7, and everything else.

Realized that the order hadn't come in - and instead of trying to redo those 2 orders - I want to copy the data/order info from my OLD c drive (where all the data is still intact) to the new C drive.

I've copied the order info from the java folders (under Millers Remote Suite Plus folder) - but it isn't showing up when I start the MRSP program.

I'm not database friendly - so if someone could PLEASE help - I'll buy you coffee... or a six pack of whatever you prefer...

I think your going to need Millers help on this one. Or plug in your old PC to redo the order.

Install Millers prog, then reboot, then copy the old folder onto the new install.

See if that works, ROES has to be off in order for it to work.

Millers gets the coffee... ;-)

They cmb and helped me copy the ENTIRE Java folder - versus just the order folder part - over which made it work! ;-) I was able to restart the upload! ;-)
