You know, the experimental google chrome laptop? I signed up for it months ago and just receieved it yesterday. I was shocked to say the least. Anyone else here get one?

Well obviously I love having a free laptop. Chrome OS is different. Its basically a laptop with a web browser.

I honestly couldnt tell you when I signed up. It had to have been six or seven months ago. And I even read an article back in march that said they werent shipping them anymore.

I got no notice or anything, sucker just showed up on my doorstep.

ya, from what i've been reading over the past week or so it seems like they are sending out a second wave in order to clear their cr-48 inventory. this apparently is happening now because of the soon to be available google notebooks being marketed.
